ACI targets companies who come from non-tourism dependent, emerging industries engaged in, but not limited to:

What does a Host Company do?
During the program period beginning in September and extending to December 15, 2020, a host company:
Participates in an orientation session
Provides on-the-job training and work experience
Supervises daily performance of Participants
Mentors Participants to contribute to the success of the company
Approves timesheets and other reports as required
How does a Host Company benefit from participating in ACI?
A Host Company will receive
A subsidized full-time or part-time Participant (or Participants) who can contribute to the success of your company, bringing you into the team of organizations helping to diversify and rebuild Hawaii’s state economy
Guidance from the Program Team to design and monitor the internship and its goals
Administrative help from Altres to make this a turnkey solution from start to end
Monthly reimbursement for mentoring and training each Participant and providing them with an enriching experience
Training and certification resources to help your Participant get up-to-speed quickly and add value to your company
